Routine monitoring from unabated cremators:
- Total Particulates (BS EN 13284-1)
- Hydrogen Chloride (BS EN 1911)
- Carbon Monoxide (BS EN 15058)
- VOC’s (BS EN 12619)
- Oxygen (BS EN 14789)
Additional monitoring if required combustion condition are not met, and/or for abated cremators:
- Mercury (BS EN 13211)
- Dioxins & Furans (BS EN 1948)
For dioxin and furan testing it is recommended that testing be performed over two to four cremations to meet detection limits required but our labs can achieve very low detection limits for these tests, so this could be carried out over one cremation (with regulator permission).
